CAYMAN FILMMAKING 101

Hosting a kids camp to teach film making skills is not only a fun experience but also a way to give back to the community. Recently, our media production company had the opportunity to host a kids camp in the beautiful Cayman Islands. Our goal was to get local youth involved in the film business by teaching them the fundamentals of film making. We spent time teaching theory and giving hands-on experience with industry-standard gear like the ARRI Alexa mini LF cinema camera. The highlight of the camp was when the students wrote and shot a short interrogation scene that we spliced into a scene from Ironman. It was amazing to see the students' creativity and talent come to life, and we're proud to have played a part in helping to foster their passion for film making. By investing in the youth, we're confident that we're contributing to a better future for the film industry in the Cayman Islands.
